HEAT ONE Garage Deluxe ~ YOUTH Band Competition

Mo’s and Expressive Ground have setup one hell of a prize pack on the back of our first ever youth band competition announcement in the quest to find Gold Coast’s GARAGE DELUXE.

Offering a serious leg up to one lucky local act, Garage Deluxe will take place over 3 heats and a final across June and July.

Band applications for this instalment are open to bands with all members under 25 years and at least one member living on the Gold Coast, with prize packs for heat and final winners including:

• $1000 cash to the winner
• $500 cash to the runner up
• Media Package and Awards Tickets via Gold Coast Music Network (RRP $750)
• Filmclip shoot via One Way Boulevard (RRP $1000)
• Indie Strategy Session via Mojo Bullet (RRP $250)
• Start Me Up Business Consultation via Account Me In (RRP $250)
• Professional EPK setup via Beats Cartel (RRP $300)
• Professional Press Shot Photo Shoot via Snacks For Your Eyes Photography (RRP $500)
• Paid slot in upcoming event at Mo’s Desert Clubhouse

Two bands will go through to the final from each heat with bands judged by a panel of industry professionals (musicianship/stage presence/marketability) along with the ability to bring a crowd via drink ticket system.

• HEAT ONE - Thursday 25 July
• HEAT TWO - Thursday 01 August
• HEAT THREE - Thursday 08 August
• FINAL - Thursday 15 August

To put forward your band please email band details to music@mosdesertclubhouse.com before June 17 including:

• Band name
• Band member ages
• Band member locations
• Social links (FB and insta)
• Music and clip links (Spotify and YouTube)
• Heat date preferred (if there is a preference)

All band genres welcome, basic backline and in-house tech provided.  Mo's music team will select bands for heats based on submissions.  *Over 25's band comp also available for registration (closes in May)!
