About the event
An afternoon of home-grown original music with three of the Gold Coast’s finest indie-folk acts - Shani Forrester & The MoonShip celebrate their debut release 'Kissed an Angel'.Â
Kicking off the show are Medieval-Americana folk duo ‘Jinn Barons’, whose distinctive baritone vocals and soaring violin licks set the scene for the soulful, sonic adventure that follows. Ebbing and flowing through the existential curiosity, Sierra Hotel travel transiently across genres, creating a space for ‘Shani Forrester & The MoonShip’ to cook up a tasty mix of soulful-bluesy-folk-country-pop, with sounds somehow both nostalgic and brand new.
