NICE BISCUIT Live at Mo's

Brisbane riders of the ether Nice Biscuit return to the Gold Coast for Mo's 2nd Birthday weekend armed with the thrilling new jam Passing Over, title track from their forthcoming EP.

Nice Biscuit’s idiosyncratic brand of psych rock gets another revision on Passing Over, their collective kaleidoscopic lenses in sharper focus, with more space and time given for the music to stretch out and explore. Nice Biscuit are now crafting a driving and immersive wide-screen sound, where repetition suggests the sound of worn tyres kissing the road on a long journey onto destinations unknown.

Brisbane's Nice Biscuit create their distinct vision of psychedelic and garage rock by blending together harmonised vocal melodies and driving instrumental grooves. Fronted by Billie Star and Grace Cuell, the femme vocal duo bring their ethereal and powerful harmonies, synchronised dancing and matching handmade costumes to create a visually stunning live performance. Nick Cavendish (bass), Jess Ferronato (guitar) and Kurt Melvin (drums), offer fuzzy instrumentals, melodic lead guitar sections and tight rhythms that combine to create a swirl of sonic exploration.

The Biccies will be supported by Perve Endings a fellow Brisbane four- piece. Perve Endings shape a genre of their own - matching fiery punk and rock‘n’roll with their unapologetic admiration for pop and soul. The four piece don't let expectations bound them, carving out a unique sound and presence through rotating songwriting and vocals, delivering a style full of magnetic harmonies, memorable hooks, and thoughtful lyricism.  Also in support are Brisbane's The Flamingo Jones.
