MACHINE CLUB + SUPER MASSIVE + MY FICTION

It’s an intimate evening of super proportion as Machine Club team up with Super Massive and My Fiction to bring you a huge triple bill of deep electronic rock and synthpop. All three bands deliver powerful synth-based music with the heady exhilaration that can only come from live drums and guitars.

Machine Club are launching their brand new single – a long-awaited follow up to 2018’s “Wise Up”. The band will be dropping a set of their deep, mesmerising dance beats and synth arpeggiations with thoughtful lyrics and a razor sharp edge.

Ultra-funky three-piece Super Massive (featuring Glenn Abbott from MGF and Disco Disciples) are launching their sixth single “Invertebrate”, which recently reached #3 on the Australian Regional Radio Chart. The band released two singles last year which have gained attention in various corners of the world, including the US, UK, Germany, Sweden, Portugal and Mexico and right here in Queensland with repeat play on Rebel FM. They’ll be playing a set of upbeat tunes old and new, all hewn from their unmistakeable and creative 50/50 blend of dance and rock. Super Massive will also be sneaking a couple of their disco-driven tunes into their set to ensure fans of their recent collaboration with The Soul Movers on their single “Circles Baby” are not disappointed (Glenn produced the track and Malina sings BVs).

It’s been a few years since Brisbane band My Fiction played and my oh my how the world has changed since they released their acclaimed debut album FIREROMANCEFIRE ten years ago. Seeking distraction in these ‘rona times, they’ve dusted off the synths, re patched their pedal boards and completed The Quest for Eric’s Microphone and come out to play with us. Why not join them in a flash back to the early 2010’s with some synth-pop fun times?
