Introduction to Eco Printing
Time & Location
About The Event
A full day workshop with Norton from Retritus where participants will learn the basics of eco printing.
We will start the day getting to know the theory behind eco printing then we will move on to creating our eco print bundles on a 10% silk and 90% wool scarf followed by paper.
While our bundles are in the dye pot we will break for lunch (due to Covid I am asking that participants bring their own lunch and keep cup or bottle).
After lunch we will spend some time making handmade twine from natural fibre material (feel free to bring an old piece of clothing you would like to upcycle - don't worry if you don't have any I will also provide material).
Participants may bring leaves or flowers of their own to try but please make sure you can identify the plant and know that it is not toxic.
I do encourage participants to use at least 50% of leaves provided on their scarves to guarantee results.
If you have any questions please feel free to message me and I look forward to spending the day with you!
