DAISY BRAINS EP LAUNCH

“Save the Planet, Eat Your Friends” is the bold and satirical title of the Gold Coast outfits [Daisy Brains] debut EP. 

From sweet, blistering, indie melodies to heavy hitting anthems about climate change, this band has definitely proven it is a force to be reckoned with and not to be taken lightly.  Their lead single “A Better View” takes direct aim at Prime Minister Scott Morrison and the Liberal Government, for their inability to act on climate change. In just three chords and a rally of powerful of lyrics, the band just got political and there’s no turning back. 

In just twelve months the band has gone from playing their first local show off home-produced singles, to back to back East coast tours celebrating releases “Feel Alive” & “All in Your Head.” Both singles received rave reviews from Triple J Unearthed, national and international spins on the airwaves, and various features on Spotify editorial playlists.  

Daisy Brains have most certainly made a statement with this release, and they’re pointing out the cracks in the pavement. It is an honest and invigorating reflection of  21st century living, and the modern day pressures it throws your way. Its infectious, energetic and just the first taste of what this exciting new grunge outfit has to offer.
