River Movement with The Drunken Midnight Choir, Houdini Dancefloor & Bunyip Aristocracy

Like a breath of fresh air, the aroma of Bunyip Aristocracy's psych-blues sound emerges from the bush of the Hinterland. Formed during the pandemic, the Gold Coast four-piece outfit have formulated a sound that is both fresh and familiar.

Houdini Dancefloor is a Nu-Grunge two-piece, straight out of Gold Coast. They have a habit of getting crowds to participate probably more than what is normally expected, but they have a chuckle doing it.

Beginning his Australian music career as a solo artist in 2018, Irish born artist/singer/songwriter Richard Neill merged his talents with Gold Coast veterans Josh Paish(drums) and Ryan Grantham(bass) in 2021 to form ‘Richard Neill & The Drunken Midnight Choir’. However in 2023, after several single releases, official music videos, a number of live performances and their debut US tour, the band officially became "The Drunken Midnight Choir”.

River Movement was formed in 2017, as a band with a strong collaborative vision, intent on sharing a message of hope through a unique blend of cross genre music. Their style is a combination of rap and folk music that has evolved into a full band experience that regularly includes elements of reggae, rock and funk (just to name a few). This mixture along with River Movements trade-mark live freestyles (mid set), regularly leave audiences wondering what will happen next. Based in South East Queensland (split between the Gold Coast and Brisbane), River Movement has worked hard to build a body of work that not only expresses the unique sound and style of the band, but also the vision of the movement, culminating in several single releases across the last few years and the release of their debut album “Impending Light” in 2019. Since then, the band has released 5 singles and a Christmas EP (“River Movement’s Christmas Classics”), all leading up to their next major release, marked for the end of 2023.
