About the event

RESTORE THE HEART CACAO CEREMONY

In ancient Mayan culture, CACAO is known as the 'Food of the Gods'. Cacao is considered an entheogen – which means it’s a Sacred Substance that brings you closer to God. It has been used for thousands of years in Ceremony and Ritual as a way of Connecting to the Sacred Plant Spirit of Cacao; a higher source that can give us a greater perspective on life and help us to see our way creatively through challenges and change.

During Sacred Chocolate Ceremonies, we work with Cacao as an integrative practice to invite more Joy and Celebration into our lives.

Cacao is much more than just chocolate as we know it. It is one of the highest natural sources of calcium and magnesium, in perfect ratios that are fully absorbable by the body. It also contains a type of amino acid called PEA that is a precursor to the happy brain chemical - serotonin.

I have created this ceremony as now feels like the time more then ever to honour the Goddess of Cacao, Ixcacao, and in turn honour ourselves in the process.

As we gather in circle on the evening of 3rd of December, we will be taken on a journey connecting to the Elements (Earth, Air, Water, Fire, Aether) the 7 directions and our animal allies.

This medicine has incredible healing powers and as 2020 has been quite the journey for us all collectively and also our dear mother earth, it’s time for us to come together with the intention of opening our hearts, connecting back to what is most important, healing the parts of ourselves that are tender and creating clarity as this year glides to an end.

If you feel called, please come and join us in celebration and prayer both collectively and individually as when we come together in these ways our prayers are amplified.

Please wear something comfortable, bring a blanket with you in case you feel the cold, feel free to bring a sacred objects you have and bring your heart and your open mind.

I’m beyond excited for this night and I can not wait to connect with you all.

And so it is….A’ho. xo
