About the event
Jay Brown is no stranger to the Australian music landscape. The Gold Coast based singer/songwriter spent his formative years fronting alt-metal heroes Sunk Loto and more recently rock powerhouse Electric Horse. His recording career spans twenty years and this April Jay will release his debut solo EP ‘Disappearing Act’.
The four track EP marks the beginning of a new chapter, trading the angst ridden heavy vocals of his previous acts, for a stripped back sound which lingers somewhere between Country and folk rock. The EP was recorded mixed and mastered by Forrester Savell.
Off the back of debut performances in February supporting Cog and with restrictions slowly easing Jay & his band, The Moonlight Valley are hitting the road and taking the songs to the stage.
