About the event
Presented by Mo's Desert Clubhouse, Death Valley Sessions is a four part series focusing on heavy styles, which provides paid performance opportunities to under-supported genres with the view to helping develop genre culture on traditionally under-utilised and attended nights of the week.
Fresh off their massive 30+ date second European tour, Wollongong garage punks HOON return to Australia with a run of dates across the East Coast in August.
They’re bringing back the raw, off-kilter energy of their live show—equal parts chaotic and charming—with the release of their second vinyl record, ‘Speed and Fatigue’ in tow.
The album sharpens their sound, weaving together fast, jagged punk with post-punk textures and flashes of Brit-rock, while leaning further into the larrikin spirit of their uniquely Australian take on punk rock.
Speed and Fatigue is out now on vinyl through Idiotape Records. Stay tune for an extended lineup.
